Doesn't Seem to be Using GPU

In MW@Home preferences I have checked off for it to use my NVIDIA GPU, and in BOINC manager under Activity I selected "use GPU always", and the tasks pane shows (0.997 CPUs + 1 NVIDIA GPU) in Status. OS: Windows 10 x64 If it says it's running a task using 0.997 CPUs + 1 NVIDIA GPU then it IS using the gpu, your pc's are hidden so I can't see any completed tasks but that would be another clue. Try using MSIAfterBurner, it works with any model gpu, to see how much your gu is actually being loaded during each task as Windows built-in stuff is notoriously bad at monitoring stuff like that, another option is GPU-Z and the same people make one called CPU-Z to see what your cpu cores are actually doing. Ignore Windows Task Manager for that kind of stuff, it's only looking for basic stuff like putting it on the screen. If you are running NBody tasks yes all of your cpu cores will be used on a single task and it will show your cpu usage at 100%, there are other posts in the Number Crunching forum that can help you with controlling that. In some cases using all your cpu cores can also cause tasks to 'hang' and essentially stop crunching unless you suspend and then restart them, using fewer cores per task seems to help with that problem.
